Samadhi is a word from ancient Sanskrit that means a deep state of peace, presence, and connection. In many spiritual traditions, it’s described as the moment when your mind becomes still, your heart opens, and you feel completely one with yourself and the world around you. It’s not about escaping life—it’s about fully arriving in it.
The seed of Samadhi was planted in 2018, during a time when we were immersed in the practices of meditation and plant medicine. One of our early teachers from Costa Rica, often guided us through meditations that left a lasting imprint on our hearts. In one of those quiet moments, he spoke the word Samadhi—and something about it resonated deeply. At first, we were simply drawn to the sound of it without knowing why. It felt like something we'd always known.
Curious about its true meaning, we began to explore further. After watching the documentary Samadhi on Gaia, we realized it was more than just a beautiful word—it was a call to presence, to unity, to a deeper way of living and remembering.
When the time came in 2020 to give a name to the healing work we were building, Samadhi was the only one that felt right. It held the essence of what we wanted to offer the world: a space for stillness, connection, and sacred transformation.
We chose the name Samadhi because it reflects what we hope to offer: a space where you can slow down, let go of what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your true self. Whether through ceremony, movement, or community, Samadhi is about coming home—to your body, your spirit, and each other.
